Medical Assistant - Urology Clinic

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our Urology Clinic team at Denver Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist providers with various clinical and administrative tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Provide nursing support with invasive procedures, medication administration, and other medical tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control practices and safety protocols.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality care standards.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
