Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Broad River Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide direct care to patients.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting Physical Therapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans
  • Implement interventions and treatments as directed by Physical Therapists
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices
