Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of routine and specialized tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including instruments and automated systems.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate laboratory results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in a life science or related field.
  • Completion of a clinical laboratory approved or accredited program.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by a recognized certifying agency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with frequent exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
