We are seeking a highly motivated and well-trained academic physician to join our team in the Division of Urogynecology at the University of New Mexico. As a faculty member, you will be involved in clinical teaching and research, working with a team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality patient care and advance the field of urogynecology.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the education and surgical training of medical students, residents, and fellows in the clinic, classroom, and operating room.
- Contribute to the development of clinical research projects and publications in the field of urogynecology.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to provide comprehensive patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
- Engage in academic activities, such as teaching, mentoring, and service, to contribute to the growth and development of the Division of Urogynecology.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent.
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration.
- Experience teaching students and residents.
- MIGS Certified.
- Clinical skills and scholarly activity.
- Experience working within a managed care environment.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
