About the Job

Fountain House's housing program provides a safe and stable environment, ensuring that individuals living with mental illness remain housed, establish a recovery-oriented space, develop independent living skills, and increase their self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Residential Support
  • Provide direct support to members with daily living tasks, apartment maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with FH clinical staff, case management support staff, vocational staff, and social practitioners to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to promote member independence and self-sufficiency
  • Monitor and report on member progress, making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to maintain member confidentiality
  • Proven experience working with individuals experiencing mental health issues
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with EHR systems
Working Conditions

This role requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and overnights. Ability to transport members to community activities or medical appointments may be required.

Benefits and Compensation
