Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Frez-N-Stor will collaborate with the Human Resources and Safety departments to facilitate the recruitment and onboarding of new personnel. This role is essential in familiarizing new employees with company protocols and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, interview, and support the hiring process for qualified candidates for various job openings; work closely with department Supervisors and Managers to determine the required skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies to secure temporary workers as needed.
  • Review and manage incoming employment applications.
  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates to assess their suitability.
  • Evaluate candidates' experience with various equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Handle employment verification processes, including drug screenings, background checks, and reference verifications.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions for new hires and existing employees, focusing on skills, policies, and compliance.
  • Schedule training sessions, prepare training materials, and manage related administrative tasks.
  • Assign lockers and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) to both new and current employees.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reordering PPE and supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records in the HRIS and physical personnel files.
  • Create and circulate the monthly calendar for employee birthdays and anniversaries.
  • Keep company bulletin boards updated with job postings, announcements, and events.
  • Translate company communications, including announcements and memos.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a strong focus on task completion.
  • Effective presentation skills.
