Key Responsibilities- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage and develop a repair plan.
- Repair damaged body parts using specialized tools and techniques, including welding, dent removal, and panel replacement.
- Ensure the vehicle's frame or structure is properly aligned using computer measuring or mechanical measuring systems and hydraulic equipment.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by masking, sanding, filling, and priming.
- Color match existing paint and apply a high-quality finish.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and additional services provided.
- Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Efficiently manage time to complete repairs while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with other team members to streamline the repair process and avoid delays.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns and keeping them informed about the progress of their repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- 1-3 months of related experience, either through education or on-the-job training.
- Boat fiberglass repair experience is acceptable.
