Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at the Ford-Lincoln Veteran Careers Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
  • Work closely with other technicians and support staff to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in the automotive industry, through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with dealership and factory standards, and that all vehicles are returned to customers in a safe and roadworthy condition.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Technician in an automotive service department.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and operate hoist and test equipment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with the public.
  • Manual dexterity in both hands and the ability to manipulate small objects.
