Job Opportunity

English Rose is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our evening team. As a caregiver, you will provide care and engagement with our residents, promoting their holistic well-being.

Shift times: Every Other Saturday and Sunday 2p - 10p with the option to add 1 or 2 days during the week. Our staff to resident ratio is 1: 3 in the evenings, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care and building relationships with your residents.

We promise strong leadership support and comprehensive training to ensure your success. Join our team of dementia experts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Compensation: $ per hour based on experience, certification, and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Relationship-focused compassionate caregiver (HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA, CNA)
  • Passion for leading engaging activities with residents
  • 16+ yrs of age and able to pass the MDH background check & tuberculosis screening
  • Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for majority of your shift
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Cooking & cleaning experience (preferred)
  • Valid Drivers License (preferred)
  • Current vaccinations for COVID19 (preferred)
  • Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to Residents with dementia and complex medical conditions.
  • Support Residents by preparing meals, distributing medication, housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Follow programming plans to provide meaningful engagement for the enrichment of our residents' lives.
