Industrial Logistics Specialist

Riverstone Logistics is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support the development and optimization of warehouse site layout plans. This role will be critical in revisiting the layout of all existing leased warehouses and determining space requirements for current and future clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Layout Design & Optimization:
- Develop and update layout plans for all existing leased warehouse spaces, ensuring efficient space utilization for existing clients.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for optimizing warehouse operations, including storage, material handling, and workflow designs.
- Revisit and adjust layout designs periodically to meet changing client and operational requirements.
- Analyze space utilization across warehouses to assess current and future requirements based on client profiles and inventory needs.
- Collaborate with the VP of Supply Chain to develop and implement standardized warehouse sizing models suitable for multi-client logistics hubs.
- Provide analytical support to develop and refine pricing models based on warehouse space, client requirements, and service levels.
- Collaborate with the business development team to support pricing strategies for new and existing clients.
- Conduct network analysis to identify optimal warehouse locations and configurations for efficient distribution across Riverstone's logistics footprint.
- Assist in developing strategic recommendations for warehouse expansion or consolidation, based on data-driven insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse layout design, logistics optimization, or related areas.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in space planning, pricing analytics, and network modeling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software for warehouse layouts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in multi-client or third-party logistics environments is a plus.
