Haven Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals facing unplanned pregnancies with life-affirming support.

About the Position

This leadership role oversees the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of Haven Center. The Executive Director will manage staff, lead fundraising efforts, engage with the community, and ensure exceptional client services while maintaining the organization's financial stability and impact.

ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Strategy
  • Develop and execute plans that move Haven Center forward, aligning with the organization's mission.
  • Collaborate with the Board to implement strategies that support life-affirming decisions.
  • Maintain high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of clients and the community.
Service and Client Management
  • Oversee accessible, effective, and mission-aligned client services.
  • Improve services based on client feedback and community needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients for optimal support.
Fundraising and Financial Management
  • Lead fundraising efforts through donor relations, grant writing, and events.
  • Ensure responsible use of resources within an estimated $120,000 - $150,000 salary budget.
  • Provide transparent financial reports to the Board and ensure organizational sustainability.
Staff and Volunteer Leadership
  • Hire, train, and lead staff and volunteers in a positive and mission-driven work environment.
  • Regularly provide feedback and support for staff growth.
  • Build a strong volunteer program to enhance the organization's impact.
Community and Public Engagement
  • Represent Haven Center in the community to raise awareness about the organization's mission.
  • Establish partnerships with other organizations and leaders to expand services.
  • Promote Haven Center's life-affirming work through public speaking engagements and media outreach.
Governance and Accountability
  • Work closely with the Board to inform them on operational and financial matters.
  • Ensure all activities align with Haven Center's mission and values, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A passion for Haven Center's mission and commitment to life-affirming support.
  • Bachelor's degree required; nonprofit management, healthcare, or related fields preferred.
  • Experience in leadership roles within nonprofits or similar organizations.
  • Strong fundraising skills, including donor relations and grant writing.
  • Ability to manage finances and work within a budget.
  • Excellent communication skills for public speaking and writing.
