We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance and Quality Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the quality systems and processes for the product team, ensuring adherence to our Quality Policies & Processes.
  • Ensure quality requirements are properly accounted for in product development projects.
  • Monitor product quality data to proactively identify and manage issues.
  • Identify and launch continuous improvement initiatives to drive quality improvements.
  • Ensure Product Returns, Quality and Warranty data is analyzed, reported and actioned appropriately.
  • Maintain a system of monitoring product compliance status and expiring certifications to ensure all active products remain compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Stay cognizant of changes and trends in the regulatory landscape to proactively influence product roadmaps and strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 6 years experience specifically in the Quality and Regulatory Compliance related domains.
  • Knowledge of safety agency (UL, CSA, Intertek, etc.) operations, requirements and compliance testing.
  • Experience interacting with product safety and governmental agencies, navigating certification processes and managing certifications and technical file records.
  • Understanding of world-wide product compliance and registration processes.
  • Experience leading and/or managing a team, with an emphasis on coaching and training.
