Speech Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Jet Health in Granbury, TX. This PRN (per diem) position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Job OverviewAs a Speech-Language Pathologist with Jet Health, you will provide therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients restore or maintain their well-being and independence.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Conduct ongoing clinical assessments, including OASIS assessments, to identify patient needs and determine level of functioning.
- Develop and evaluate plans of care in partnership with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide therapeutic treatments for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based tests and measurements.
- Apply infection control and universal precautions to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current State License in Speech-Language Pathology or meets requirements listed in 42 CFR §484.115(n); current Driver's License.
- One year of experience in an acute care, rehabilitation setting, or home health preferred.
- Therapy skills in line with generally accepted standards of practice; good interpersonal skills; proof of current CPR.
- Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
