About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Cook Children's Medical Center. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to children with various speech and language disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in speech/language pathology and pediatric experience is preferred. A state license or eligibility for licensure is also required, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology within 12 months of hire.

Job Summary:

  • Provide coverage for the Mansfield Multi-specialty Clinic and Urgent Care Center
  • Conduct evaluations, treatments, and home programming for children with feeding and swallowing disorders, articulation, voice, resonance, and fluency issues
  • Offer aural rehabilitation/auditory verbal therapy for hearing loss or cochlear implant and evaluation for augmentative communication devices
  • Patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals, clinics, and agencies within Cook Children's Health Care System and the community

Work Environment:

This position is based at the Mansfield Multi-specialty Clinic and Urgent Care Center, with regular interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will work closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and support to children with diverse needs.
