Speech and Language Specialist Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Specialist to join our team at MHMR Tarrant. As a Speech and Language Specialist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to infants and toddlers with communication and/or feeding concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and/or feeding needs.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators, parents, and IFSP team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in project groups, committees, child find activities, and interagency program planning.
  • May serve as Service Coordinator for infants and toddlers with speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency or Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Current Texas Licensure in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy is preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Estimated Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year.
