Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate interviews, surveys, and workshops employing diverse techniques to collect requirements from stakeholders. Analyze these requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and precision.
  • Document current processes and design enhanced versions, often utilizing diagrams and flowcharts.
  • Define and document user journeys that illustrate interaction scenarios.
  • Create and refine design documentation and artifacts, including workflows, task flows, user flows, site maps, annotated wireframes, functional requirements, functional prototypes, and research findings.
  • Envision and establish innovative and effective workflows and interaction styles to boost efficiency and user productivity.
  • Assess potential solutions for feasibility and evaluate their impact on the business and existing systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team to ensure effective communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Support the implementation of new systems or processes, including training and assistance for end-users.
Expected Deliverables:
  • Business Requirements Document (BRD): A comprehensive description of business needs and acceptance criteria for solutions.
  • Functional Specifications: A document detailing the functionality required to fulfill business needs, often incorporating use cases or user stories.
  • Technical Specifications: Detailed specifications utilized by IT developers to design and implement solutions, which may be part of or separate from Functional Specifications, depending on the organization's methodology.
  • Process Diagrams: Visual representations of current and future business processes, employing notations such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
  • Data Models: Diagrams or documents outlining how data will be structured and managed within the system.
  • Test Plans and Test Cases: Documents detailing how the solution will be tested to ensure it meets the established requirements.
  • User Manuals/Training Materials: Guides and materials designed to assist end-users in understanding and effectively utilizing the new system or process.
  • Status Reports and Dashboards: Regular updates on project progress, including risks, issues, and milestones.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and data synthesis in an agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient stakeholder engagement skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with information architecture.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.
  • Experience in creating user manuals, test plans, and test cases.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with business process modeling notation is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess an Active Public Trust/MBI clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
