Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for performing advanced pharmacy functions, including team leadership and technical skills. This is a part-time position that requires a high level of training and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pharmacy functions requiring independent judgment and advanced technical skills.
  • Lead and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians.
  • Develop and implement departmental distribution procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with the Technician Coordinator.
Requirements
  • Minimum of six months specialized training beyond high school.
  • Minimum one year experience at the pharmacy technician level.
  • Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan is required.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Basic typing and word processing skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time or to walk long distances without difficulty.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that requires standing for long periods of time or walking long distances without difficulty. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively train technicians and interact with physicians, nurses, and other Health Center personnel.
