Oncology Pharm Tech Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician II to join our Oncology team at Trinity Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced pharmacy supportive functions, including team leadership and technical skills. This is a part-time position, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy team.

• Perform advanced pharmacy supportive functions, including team leadership and technical skills.
• Assist with the preparation of cytotoxic agents and NICU pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards, ensuring a high level of work accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance to pharmacy technicians and students.
• Participate in monthly meetings with the Technician Coordinator and complete additional tasks as assigned.

• Minimum of six months specialized training beyond high school.
• Minimum one year experience at the pharmacy technician level.
• Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan is required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Basic typing and word processing skills.
• Basic computer skills to do order entry, generate reports, retrieve data, and diagnose minor printer problems.

This is a part-time position, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances without difficulty. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
