Purpose

Our Field Services Representative I Installed Sales plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing construction service and product issues at the customer's site. This position requires a strong focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness in resolving quality and reliability complaints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Investigate and examine the condition of company building workmanship and products on the customer's site, reporting back to the Customer Service team on findings.
  • Recommend replacement or repair of defective products based on customer service guidelines.
  • Negotiate and approve third-party repair/adjustment; inspect completed work for quality adherence.
  • Plan and pace own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, project, or team-related productivity goals.
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or co-workers.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

To succeed in this position, an individual must possess a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. On-the-job training is available for this entry-level role.

Competencies
  • Knowledge of company products and pricing, discount, and estimating formulas and guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math and measurement skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Work Environment/Physical Activity

The physical demands of this role require the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. Work is performed on both company and customer sites, involving driving to customer locations and walking on uneven ground. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
