Position Summary: We are currently seeking a full-time Program Manager for our Technical Assistance Center.

Compensation: Starting salary is $52,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.

This role entails overseeing consulting, training, and technical assistance (TTA) initiatives related to reentry challenges within a federally funded TTA Center under the US Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). The Program Manager will collaborate with Center partners and staff to coordinate the development and execution of all consulting and TTA activities for grantees, ensuring that action plans and milestones are achieved. This position allows for remote work or can be based at TASC's headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of consulting, training, and technical assistance deliverables aimed at reducing recidivism and fostering community recovery. Support grantees in formulating action plans and tailored TTA strategies based on project needs and readiness.
  • Provide consulting services to grantees through various methods, including on-site and virtual training, technical assistance, and coaching. Assess site needs, determine appropriate levels of TTA intervention, and develop recommendations to help grantees achieve their objectives.
  • Foster positive relationships with consulting clients, project partners, and funders, ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Ensure timely and quality completion of contract deliverables, collaborating with grantees and partners on products such as newsletters, workshops, webinars, and other resources.
  • Assist in the preparation of administrative project documentation, including narratives and budgets for consulting and training initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress through the development and maintenance of reports and tools, participating in supervision and team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, criminology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in relevant sectors, including corrections, criminology, or health and justice systems.
  • Strong project and financial management capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in delivering consulting services and developing products.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to manage both high-level strategic issues and detailed operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Skilled in preparing written materials for various audiences, including reports and correspondence.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
