About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Sales Associate to join our team at Blick Art Materials. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our art supplies, and contributing to a positive and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and making recommendations on art supplies.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Promote and sell art supplies, including paints, brushes, canvases, and other materials, to meet sales goals and targets.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining a visually appealing store environment by merchandising products, creating displays, and implementing visual standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels of art supplies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 months of previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
