Job Summary

ISI Elite Training - Owings Mills, MD is seeking a full-time leader who is passionate about fitness and coaching others. As a Head Performance Coach, you will be responsible for creating a high-energy, welcoming, and high-vibe facility that drives loyalty and member engagement. You will also manage all aspects of ISI coaching staff, including hiring, training, and ensuring they meet our elite brand standards.

Responsibilities
  • Own the culture and members' outstanding service experience, driving loyalty and member engagement.
  • Manage all aspects of ISI coaching staff, including hiring, training, and ensuring they meet our elite brand standards.
  • Create and maintain a high-energy, welcoming, and high-vibe facility.
  • Organize and ensure the cleanliness of the training floor.
  • Execute, train, and manage the coach's portion of the sales process, including members' problem-solution options.
  • Deliver membership retention of 90% to 95% and target member session engagement of 100%.
  • Build a member base that loves ISI and raves about us, managing earned and organic social media, including tracking member post-session reviews.
  • Develop, delegate, and/or approve training schedules of all sessions.
  • Conduct monthly coaching staff and development meetings, supporting the Facility Manager with team and/or owner huddles.
  • Attend all relevant, mandatory training and other requested corporate meetings.
  • Coach a minimum of 10 sessions per week.
  • Maintain current, active coaches' employee files, including resumes, CPR cards, fitness certifications, I-9, disciplinary items, emergency contact information, and more as needed.
Requirements and Qualities
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Hold current fitness certification from an approved organization, such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, etc.
  • Must have current CPR/AED certification.
  • 3+ years of professional experience coaching in the fitness industry, including certified personal training and/or group fitness training, and formally managing.
  • Great communicator, lead by example, detail-oriented, and operate with high service standards.
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred.
  • Resourceful and able to execute a plan of action.
  • Love helping members achieve their goals and can lead a first-class member experience.
  • Demonstrate the desire to lead and train employees and motivate the team to goals.
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Have the flexibility and availability to work and respond early mornings, nights, and weekends.
  • Take 2+ ISI Athletic-Based Training sessions per week and attend relevant ISI programs.
