Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as a Radiology Technologist Assistant at The Orthopedic Clinic. As a key member of our Radiology patient care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow and safe transport of patients to procedures within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of patients for exams, utilizing proper body mechanics for patient transport.
  • Answer patient questions and prepare them for imaging procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and at ease during the imaging process.
  • Prepare patient and equipment for examination or procedure to facilitate efficiency.
  • Clean and stock supplies in assigned areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Communicate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assist Radiologic Technologists as needed, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of High School Diploma.
  • Previous patient service experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products and EHR software applications, preferably Athena.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
