We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as a Radiology Technologist Assistant at The Orthopedic Clinic. As a key member of our Radiology patient care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow and safe transport of patients to procedures within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of patients for exams, utilizing proper body mechanics for patient transport.
- Answer patient questions and prepare them for imaging procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and at ease during the imaging process.
- Prepare patient and equipment for examination or procedure to facilitate efficiency.
- Clean and stock supplies in assigned areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Communicate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist Radiologic Technologists as needed, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of High School Diploma.
- Previous patient service experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products and EHR software applications, preferably Athena.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
