Cardiovascular Lab Manager Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Lab Manager is responsible for performing routine and specialized procedures on patients as prescribed by a physician and directed by department protocol. This role requires leadership skills to coordinate patient care activities of the department and serve as unit liaison to director, medical staff, and other areas. The successful candidate will delegate responsibilities, facilitate and ensure communication among team members, and employ a mastery function to advise and teach other Associates and evaluate care delivered. Collaboration with the director to facilitate operational changes to meet the needs of our customers is also essential. Additionally, the Cardiovascular Lab Manager will work collaboratively with the cardiovascular team to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives. Reviews and manages departmental supplies and capital/operational budgets in collaboration with the executive director. Effective communication skills and ensuring compliance of departmental standards are also required.

Requirements
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of cardiovascular and intervention experience is required, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
