We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Facility Director to lead our cGMP operations at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of skilled trades and maintenance personnel to ensure the efficient operation of facilities and equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of facilities and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of facilities and equipment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff to ensure effective operation of facilities and equipment.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities management or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a cGMP environment.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a focus on team development and performance.
- Strong technical knowledge of facilities and equipment, with a focus on cGMP operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Facility Management Professional Certification through the International Facility Management Association or equivalent.
- Dedicated training in safety and OSHA-compliant maintenance and construction operations.
- Experience with the development and updating of policies and procedures.
- Experience managing multiple building/facility locations.
The successful candidate will be required to meet the physical demands of the job, including the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work at heights, and wear personal protective equipment.
