About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at Select Specialty Hospital - Durham. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, with a focus on improving their functional abilities and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Assisting patients with complex medical conditions in achieving their rehabilitation goals
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' unique needs
* Educating patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for optimal recovery
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
* A Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent experience
* Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
