Job Title: Senior Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Engineering and Sciences organization, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering cutting-edge software solutions for our customers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on C# and experience working in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software solutions using C# and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software products that meet customer requirements
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
  • BS degree in a STEM-related field with 9+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years of experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience
  • Strong background in C# and experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with design patterns, tech stacks, and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • .NET Core, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, Reduc, CSS
  • Microservices - NetFlix, OSS (Zuul, Eureka, etc)
  • Docker, Containers, Terraform, OpenShift, Kubernetes, HELM Charts
  • MSQL, TSQL, Views, Triggers
  • Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, TFS
  • Operating Systems such as Windows 10, REHL and use of Virtual Machines
  • Agile Methodologies and Atlassian Tool Suite (Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
What We Offer:

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 - $199,600, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
