Job Title: Registered Nurse Inpatient

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Inpatient to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Inpatient will be responsible for providing direct patient care to pediatric patients in our inpatient unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in our inpatient unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a patient-centered manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
