Communications Specialist

The PNI Communications Project Manager is a highly motivated individual who will serve as the primary point of contact for all community outreach and communications efforts related to the 63106 Promise to Success Promise Neighborhood Initiative.
This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive community outreach strategy, leveraging various channels to engage diverse audiences, and cultivating relationships with community leaders and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of community engagement principles, and a proven track record of successfully driving community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a community outreach strategy that engages diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with community leaders, partners, and internal teams to achieve shared goals.
- Maintain accurate records of community interactions, feedback, and outcomes.
- Design and disseminate engaging visual content (e.g., flyers, posters) to promote project activities.
- Conduct regular community meetings and events to foster relationships and build trust.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in community outreach and engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Adeptness in MS Office, Google Suite, and content management systems.
- Familiarity with design software a plus.
Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
