Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee software delivery projects through all SDLC stages, leveraging project management expertise to align processes with Agile, Iterative, or Waterfall frameworks, and adapt strategies as needed to meet project objectives.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ensure effective communication and alignment with all stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and cross-departmental teams, to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Team Guidance and Coaching: Guide and coach teams to align with project goals and agile practices, managing multiple priorities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and effective risk management.
- Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and execute strategies that enhance project delivery, improve team velocity and product quality, and advance organizational objectives by optimizing project delivery tools and processes, including tools like Jira.
- Resource Allocation and Risk Management: Actively manage resource allocation, ensuring that project teams have the necessary skills, tools, and capacity to meet project demands, and proactively manage risks and issues with effective mitigation strategies.
- Quality and Timeliness: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
- Dependency Management: Coordinate internal and external dependencies, actively removing blockers to enhance team delivery effectiveness.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, project/program management, or a related field preferred. At least 4-6 years of experience in project management, including 3+ years leading technology projects and 2+ years supporting IT systems implementations.
- Skills and Abilities: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage at both technical and business levels. Strong documentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient in various project delivery tools like Jira, Confluence, and Rally. Adept at navigating ambiguity and connecting the dots to drive informed decisions.
- Certifications and Training: PMP and/or CSM certification strongly preferred, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
