The Head Start Teacher plays a crucial role in guiding the educational team to design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the Montessori philosophy. Responsibilities include overseeing the execution of programs that foster the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative growth of young learners. The selected candidate will work closely with the Assistant Program Manager to enhance parental engagement, comply with established guidelines, and cultivate a nurturing educational atmosphere.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 60 college credits, including at least 24 credits in Education or Early Childhood Education
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education; CDA or 24 credits in a related field is required
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a preschool teaching role
  • Willingness to complete necessary CDC and Montessori training programs if not already certified
  • Bilingual candidates are highly preferred
