Job Title: Full Time Faculty Clinician

Life University is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate clinician to join our team as a Full Time Faculty Clinician. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in providing quality chiropractic patient care and education to our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and promote a vitalistic approach to chiropractic care, centered on the vertebral subluxation complex.
  • Manage patient loads to meet student educational requirements and clinic system needs.
  • Directly supervise and provide patient care as needed.
  • Manage patient care within approved protocols.
  • Be accessible and responsive to patient needs.
  • Build and maintain strong doctor-patient relationships.
  • Ensure proper documentation and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide high-quality care and assist patients in reaching their health goals.
  • Refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Transfer patients when appropriate and maintain continuity of care.
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment.
  • Be a consultation source for other faculty members.
  • Complete patient reports and respond to agency inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain clinical expertise.
Instructional Responsibilities:
  • Develop and provide hands-on mentoring to patient care, management, and clinical education.
  • Engage interns in clinical activities and promote critical thinking.
  • Provide instruction and oversee student conduct, proficiency, and clinical standards.
  • Create Patient Care Plans with students, ensuring complete and goal-oriented patient management.
  • Support students in developing communication skills.
  • Support interns in developing examination, diagnosis, and case management skills.
  • Manage and direct clinical protocols and procedures performed by interns.
  • Participate in classroom activities as assigned.
  • Perform qualitative assessment of intern clinical competency.
  • Participate in the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) as assigned.
  • Assist in student assessment and group educational activities.
  • Provide student remediation when necessary.
  • Develop and conduct doctor-student conferences on clinical and educational issues.
  • Provide accurate and timely clinic advisement to assigned students.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited program, with current license in good standing in the state of Georgia (or eligible for licensure).
  • Bachelor degree, or completion of a Bachelor degree within two years of employment.
  • Minimum of three years successful practice experience.
  • Excellent communication, patient education, assessment, organization, diagnosis, professionalism, and adjustment technique skills.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Related post-graduate degree, Diplomate, certification, or coursework preferred.
