Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at AA2IT. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications.
  • Evaluate the suitability of laboratory equipment and ensure it is properly operated, maintained, and calibrated.
  • Use software tools such as Lotus Notes, SAP, and Microsoft Office to enhance quality reporting and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Lab Supervisor and Production personnel to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance lab and plant processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-year Associate degree in chemistry or a related field, or at least 2 years of laboratory experience.
  • Basic understanding of general chemistry, laboratory instrumentation, and quality assurance and control principles.
  • Basic computer skills using software packages such as Microsoft Office, Infinity QS Proficient, and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment on a rotating shift.
  • Basic understanding of ISO/RCMS quality system requirements.
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting, bending, and twisting of various range and motion requiring physical exertion.
  • Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk in the work environment for the majority of the time.
