Compensation:
$43.72 per hour

Position Overview:
Elderwood is in search of a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role is crucial in developing and implementing effective speech and language therapy plans tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify communication challenges and formulate appropriate therapy plans.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
3. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
4. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding communication disorders.
5. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss resident care strategies.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
