Certified Blood Collection Specialist

We are in search of a skilled Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant to become part of our dynamic patient service teams. The preferred candidate will possess 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing both butterfly and straight needles. Key responsibilities include conducting 30-40 blood draws daily, performing minor data entry within EMR systems, and maintaining accurate patient records. Following training, additional responsibilities such as specimen accessioning may be introduced. This role necessitates flexibility to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Essential Skills
- 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant
- Proficient with butterfly and straight needles
- Data entry experience - EMR systems
- Specimen collection expertise
- Understanding of various gauges and phlebotomy techniques
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Accurate data entry skills across different EMR platforms
This position is fully on-site in Connecticut and requires mobility to various locations throughout the area.
