Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Forks, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer screenings and formal assessments, with a focus on developing comprehensive reports.
  • Participate in Child Team and multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communicate with parents regarding speech therapy progress and provide regular updates.
  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to qualified students, including itinerant therapy for preschool students and Head Start programs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Maintain thorough therapy records, adhering to relevant legal requirements and standards.

Requirements:

  • A valid WA ESA Certificate as an SLP is mandatory.
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Previous classroom experience as an SLP is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
