Job Overview

Position Objective:

The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operational activities at Eads Cooling Solutions LLC. We are seeking a motivated individual who will oversee, instruct, inspire, and guide production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate setup durations and ensure precision, assess labor hours, and adhere to production control timelines.
  • Establish expected production benchmarks and monitor the performance metrics of assigned team members.
  • Offer leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team in areas including safety, equipment operation, sanitation, quality assurance, customer service, and maintenance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company standards for accuracy, quality, and timeliness, and devise strategies to meet or surpass these expectations.
  • Examine production orders or schedules to gather product information such as types, quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines to effectively plan departmental operations.
  • Ensure that quality standards are upheld and consistently enhanced.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting productivity and minimizing production expenses.
  • Uphold a clean and secure working environment within the facility, adhering to high housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial context.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at problem analysis and resolution.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
