Medical Support Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Support Associate to join our team at DR MICHAEL A KURZMAN. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $36,000 per year and an opportunity to work in a dynamic General and Cosmetic Dermatology practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the medical director with day-to-day office administration tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of physician practice protocols and procedures in dermatology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to the medical director, including preparing patients for office procedures and assisting with filling and refilling prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation, review of charts, and lab results.
- Support front office duties, including scheduling appointments, communicating with patients, and responding to daily incoming emails.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective management of clinic operations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical assistant, preferably in dermatology or cosmetic dermatology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Patient-focused and adaptable, with a pleasant personality and professional appearance.
