Job Responsibilities:
As a Patient Support Assistant at Richmond University Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Taking and recording vital signs of patients
  • Assisting patients with their daily living needs, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom
  • Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Current BLS certification is also required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital setting is preferred

Working Conditions:
This position requires working in a hospital setting, which may involve exposure to infectious diseases and other health hazards. You must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time. Additionally, you may be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
