- Execute month-end closing activities
- Prepare and enter journal entries into the JD Edwards accounting system
- Conduct account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
- Analyze financial data related to balance sheet accounts and profit & loss statements
- Support the audit process by preparing necessary schedules and liaising with auditors
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Undertake special accounting projects as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transactional processes
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and GAAP to maintain a robust internal control framework

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
- Ability to adhere to established procedures and guidelines
- Quick adaptability to changing demands and processes
- Proactive in identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly
- Strong organizational and planning skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Capability to work independently while fostering a team-oriented environment
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles
