Job Title: Adolescent Behavior Management Specialist

La Frontera Arizona is seeking a skilled Adolescent Behavior Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Children's Services Department, you will work with at-risk adolescents and their families to provide unconditional support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mentoring, life, and social skill building to adolescents in their home and community-based settings.
  • Collaborate with families, youth, and adult teams to develop and implement individualized plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Deliver at least 40 hours of work per week, with a goal of 30 hours direct client contact, which includes case management as needed.
  • Facilitate, schedule, and provide follow-up on family, youth, and adult team meetings (ACT or CFT).
  • Work with the child, family, and any support network to identify areas of risk and create safeguards specific to these concerns.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • BHT level as stipulated by AZDHS/BHS is preferred.
  • Experience working with at-risk adolescents preferred.
  • Must have minimum of One year prior experience in an applicable or relevant setting pertinent to the position.
  • Knowledge of Behavior Management Techniques.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and groups with community members, families, and teens.
