Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Management Specialist to join our team at EMPACT-SPC, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing behavioral health counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention services. As a key member of our Children's Services Department, you will provide direct support to adolescents and families in their homes, schools, and communities, with a strong emphasis on behavior management and parent partnering/education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to adolescents and families, focusing on behavior management and parent partnering/education.
  • Work collaboratively with teams serving families within the Child and Family Team process, consistent with the Arizona Vision/12 principles.
  • Facilitate groups and meetings with community members, families, and teens, promoting healthy activities and independent living skills.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to medical records compliance and performance requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; BHT level preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an applicable or relevant setting, preferably working with at-risk adolescents.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience facilitating meetings and groups.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems and children and families in crisis, with a strong emphasis on communication and collaboration.
  • Valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years and regular access to reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred.
