Position Overview

RSC2, Inc., a distinguished HUBZone Professional Services firm, is on the lookout for a seasoned Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist to lend their expertise in the delivery of pivotal intelligence and electronic warfare functionalities. This role is integral to our ongoing and future prototyping initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with intelligence and electronic warfare experts to analyze adversarial electronic orders of battle, focusing on threat radar systems and the capabilities of blue force systems to detect and counteract these threats.
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses, including subsystem evaluations, architecture breakdowns, requirements formulation, algorithm design, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of ground-based ELINT and EW systems.
  • Researching and applying cutting-edge processing technologies tailored for RF data processing applications.
  • Working alongside cross-functional teams to identify enhancements for use cases, concepts of operations (CONOPS), and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Engaging in algorithmic design and machine learning frameworks, focusing on classification and identification methodologies.
  • Managing responsibilities independently to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Innovating new concepts and strategies to address engineering challenges.
  • Identifying potential issues and providing engineering insights and guidance to resolve technical matters.
  • Coordinating and supporting all facets of electronic warfare operations, including planning, collection, processing, analysis, dissemination, and reporting related to PL SSW products.
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers, analysts, and operators to ensure precise and efficient intelligence production.
  • Performing technical evaluations of foreign threat systems and developing countermeasures in partnership with PL SSW prime and subcontractors.
  • Offering expert guidance and training to team members and vendors on emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and advancements in electronic warfare technologies.
  • Assisting in the management of technical resources essential for achieving operational goals.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Electronic Warfare.
  • Expertise in electronic warfare systems and operations, including jamming, deception, and exploitation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • The capacity to represent PL SSW at industry events and conferences.
  • The ability to translate Army Capability Manager requirements into actionable objectives and system specifications necessary for effective collection strategies.
  • Experience in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases and software applications for electronic warfare operations.
  • Experience in developing presentations for support activities to summarize results against established plans, current status, progress, deficiencies, and notable achievements.
  • Experience in conducting analyses, subsystem evaluations, architecture breakdowns, requirements formulation, algorithm design, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of ground-based ELINT and EW systems.
  • A strong understanding of ELINT systems and subsystems to create specifications necessary for meeting performance metrics against specific threat signals of interest.
  • Knowledge of supporting technologies, including pulse detectors, de-interleaving, pulse descriptor word generation, and spectrum survey strategies related to counter-radar operations.
  • An understanding of development operations procedures such as source control, change management, and release planning for algorithm or software developments associated with government research.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Proficiency in X-Midas, MATLAB, Python, and other relevant software tools.
  • Experience with GEOINT, MASINT, technical signals exploitation, modeling, and simulation.
  • Expertise in geolocation, intelligence reporting, and commonly used analysis tool suites.
  • Experience with JEL, JICD4.2, remote operations, and systems integration.
  • A proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience working with government and military clients.
  • A preference for a Master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field.
