About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Reliant Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute hospitals. Our team is dedicated to making a real impact in the lives of our patients and residents, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy and related services to patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Maintain positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and within Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines
  • Optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients through ongoing treatment and case management
  • Build a strong physical therapy program and enhance clinical expertise through interaction with managers, therapists, and other professional staff
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay up-to-date with issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the healthcare environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license
  • Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
  • Basic Internet navigation skills
