Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Center for Elders' Independence. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out participant programs and planning services.
- Provide teaching to participants, caregivers, and staff on physical therapy techniques and best practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care and progress.
- Assist with daily scheduling of rehab services and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Associate's degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
- Preferred: one year of experience working with the frail elderly population.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid California driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
This role requires frequent sitting, walking, and computer work. Occasional standing, kneeling, squatting, climbing, balancing, pushing/pulling, reaching, gripping, and pinching are also required. May walk on uneven ground and have exposure to biohazard.
