Position Summary:
The Front Desk Operations Associate is responsible for overseeing the daily activities at the front desk. This includes managing membership sales, processing program registrations, checking in visitors, handling phone inquiries, and distributing equipment. Additionally, the role entails maintaining cleanliness in the front desk area, lobby, and concession space, along with performing any other necessary tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently operate computers, cash registers, credit card terminals, and multi-line phones.
  • Engage with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining service quality.
  • Provide information regarding programs, events, memberships, admission fees, and policies effectively.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Enforce facility policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform data entry and maintain front desk documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with cash handling and basic cashiering procedures.
  • Ability to interact positively with the public.
  • Capable of working independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
  • Maintain a positive representation of the City and department.
  • Handle frequent interruptions and high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with staff and the public.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts, with a minimum of four hours per shift and at least eight hours weekly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
  • Consistent attendance is crucial for maintaining high-quality customer service.
