About the Role

As a Utilities Equipment Repairer in the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing vital utilities equipment and support systems. Your responsibilities will include supervising and performing maintenance on air conditioners, refrigeration units, and other essential systems to ensure they are functioning optimally in any environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train to read temperature and pressure gauges
  • Make operating adjustments to utility equipment
  • Test for leaks and perform preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and read technical manuals and diagnostic instruments
Training and Certification
  • 125 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid)
  • 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid)
  • Requires enlistment into the United States Army
Eligibility Requirements
  • Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (I-551)
  • Age: Between 17 to 34 Years Old
  • Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
