Job Summary:

As a Clinical Pharmacist II at Christus Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications across our healthcare system. This leadership position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medication orders according to established policies and procedures.
Interpret and transcribe medication orders, maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products.
Provide clinical consultation and education to healthcare teams, promoting evidence-based practice and optimizing patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent required.
Board certification, residency, or at least 5 years of hospital experience preferred.
Pharmacy registration in the State of practice and licensure within 60 days of start date required.
