Helio Health, a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Counselor Assistant to join our team. As a Counselor Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our patients in their treatment and recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with counseling responsibilities, including screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, patient education, case management, reporting, and record keeping.
- Participate in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
- Represent the agency to the community and perform quality assurance activities.
- Display knowledge of addiction/recovery and/or behavioral health self-help group processes and principles of counseling.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver's License, based on service settings.
