We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and psychosocial health status, and develop individualized plans of care to meet their needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a PreOp / PACU setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
